Image dimensions, aspect ratios, and placement guidance.

Start with the destination and placement, then choose a canvas with the right aspect ratio and enough pixels for the displayed size. Each reference explains whether its dimensions are an example or an attributed recommendation, and links to relevant documentation.

Keep an editable master and export separate crops where the composition needs them. An exact pixel size does not guarantee that a platform will skip resizing, compression, or alternate preview crops.
